Details: This workshop will be a two and a half day workshop. The Event begins on Thursday evening, with drinks and dinner and discussion of what is to come for the next two days. We will begin by discussing marketing and how to build /expand your pregnancy/newborn business.

Friday - The Day of the Pregnancy - We will begin the day by covering pricing, books, frames, collages and more. Everything after a pregnancy session. The second half of the day will be all shooting, so bring your gear. With live models, you will wrap and unwrap our pregnant models. You will twist and turn them, turn off a light or two and really learn how to work with woman of any shape. There will be at least two models. We will break up into teams and with Ana's guidance, all will have a chance to photograph the models.

Saturday -We will begin the day by having a slideshow and critique of the previous days images. Learn the art of cropping and working with your images to make them amazing. Then we are onto the Day of the Newborn. We will be discussing the baby plan and review Ana's actual client baby files and go over what is working in her plans. We will also discuss baby books and more pricing. How to add extra options, such as creative canvases, watercolor prints, announcements and more. We will then photograph a newborn baby. By the end of the weekend, we will make sure you are comfortable with pregnancy and newborns.

This course is for people (men and woman) of all ages and experiences. Remember - It's NOT What YOU Know - It's What I Know! We will also touch on networking with stores/ob offices/ultrasound studios and more. There will be challenges along the way as well as personal challenges. You will also receive: lots of goodies!

This is a workshop that I will be putting my heart and soul into! I will be limiting this workshop to only 10 photographers. I want to make this an intimate workshop in which everyone can have time photographing our models. In addition, to all my students, you will always have private mentoring available by me for as long as you need it.

So that's the deal!

Hope you see you there.

TESTIMONIALS

Well I LOVED your workshop!! Thank you for opening your studio to us, sharing your experiences, knowledge and talent. And just letting us into your life. This was the first time I had been around other photographers. No one in my family has a love for the art but me. I was definitely the youngest and least experienced. I wish I could have spent a whole other week with you. I'm sure you hear that a lot! Michelle Graff __________________________________

Thank you for a fabulous 2-1/2 days! I truly loved meeting you, learning from you and forming a FRIENDSHIP with you. You are a lovely lady!! At mass on Sunday morning, I thanked God for the opportunity to spend time with you. Ana, you truly give EVERYTHING you've got to your workshop attendees; I, for one, am grateful! The things I really appreciated about this workshop: The opportunity to watch you work and interact with your clients The opportunity to photograph all of the models you brought in for us - especially baby McKinley! (What a thrill to see, let alone photograph, an 11 day-old baby.) (PS - I appreciated your assistance when photographing the models and that you didn't just leave us on our own; your input was invaluable.) Learning about how you market yourself and your services Learning the basic steps of framing Having Excel come in, talk about framing and supplying us with corner samples (GNP wants $500 for their corner samples, Excel asked for closer to $300 at WPPI last year.) Learning about your ordering sessions Receiving your disk of forms The help and guidance we rec'd from your assistants AS much as anything else, I really enjoyed being around you; you are so passionate about photography. You serve as a great reminder to love what we do! Thanks, also, for making me feel worthy. Liz Chalmers

Ana’s workshop is the best workshop I have ever attended. One of the reasons I think it was the best was that it was small. There were only 9 women and we all received individual attention. I have been to other workshops that I learned a ton from but this one I actually got to experience everything. Ana worked with each one of us individually to find out were we were in our photography careers. She then took that information and made sure to address those needs.. There were many different skill levels at our workshop but no one was excluded. We worked with studio lights, pocket wizards, clothing choices for babies, pregnant women, families, and posing of all the above. She also touched on the emotional part of photography. How many times do you get to experience all of that in one workshop?

I highly recommend The Art of Pregnancy and Newborn: LIVE workshop by Ana Brandt for anyone who is interested in maternity or newborn photography. Not only does Ana review posing, wrapping, essentials for maternity and newborn sessions; but she also goes in depth into the behind the scenes work to running her successful studio. If anything, take the workshop NOW because it is worth every penny for just the business and marketing information she goes over. No question is taboo in her workshop. Ana tells it like it is, and leads one of the most helpful workshops I've ever attended. She gives plenty of hands on practice as well - yes there is limited time, but every attendee will have a chance to pose, wrap and shoot. You will leave with your head spinning and wanting to launch all the ideas that you come home with! M.Y

I really enjoyed the workshop! You gave me many great tools to help me build my business. I appreciate how gave us challenges so we could put into practice the things we had learned. Another important feature about your workshop is your willingness to mentor your students. Without a question, I would highly recommend your workshop to photographers who want to build their maternity/newborn business. Thanks again for doing such a wonderful job! S.C

Ana truly is a beautiful person both inside and out. She opened her heart and studio for us. This was my first photography workshop and I was both nervous and excited. At first , I felt intimidated being among experience photographers. I came in with my little camera bag, no business cards (didn't even have a business name) or any experience other than taking photo's for family and friends. Ana quickly ease my fears and made me feel comfortable. The workshop was small so it felt like a girls photography retreat. Ana has so much knowledge and takes gorgeous photographs. She really wanted to teach us everything she knew all the while really getting to each person and their goals. Each night we were there well past the time it was suppose to end. At the end of the workshop gave us each personnel challenges along with group challenges. I was very sad when the workshop came to an end. Ana has truly inspired me. I learned SO MUCH in those two and half days and some new friends. Ana will always have a special place in my heart. I look forward to future workshops with Ana!!!!!

Ana is obviously very talented and wants the very best for her clients. She offers frames, albums, and custom made pieces. Some of these topics, such as framing were not included in the workshop but she was willing to go over anything anyone wanted. I asked about framing and she took the time to show us how to frame a piece. We could ask any question and she was very willing to share her knowledge. The workshop ended in Tustin on Saturday evening but it was not really over. Ana has not forgotten one thing she has promised us. She gave each person an individualized challenge and she expects us to follow through and show her the assignment. She also gave us challenges as a group. I have been home for almost two weeks now and I am still working on the homework that Ana gave us. I came away energized and totally inspired. If you are interested in pregnant women, babies, children or just studio work I would highly recommend this workshop. T.Y
