I love to look for crafts that I can do with my kids. Recently I was shooting in Manhattan beach and saw these colored shells in a store window. I knew I had to do that and so to avoid Sunday afternoon boredom with the littles, off to Michaels we went! We stocked up on starfish and other shells and grabbed some paint and brushes and off we went. While they were playing in the pool I put a bunch of wax paper by the side of the pool, all of the supplies and stuck my feet in. One by the one the kids swam over and painted some and it was the best relaxing creative hour of the day! I usually bring shells with me to every beach session, so I am looking forward to bringing these along!

Well well well – this couple came in and before I was ready with my camera started nuzzling and being amazing. I couldn’t believe how incredible they were and then to find out they were together 15 years and still like that. I had to know their secret – and that my friends I did. They are world renowned ballroom dancers and gorgeous in every frame.
