I had an opportunity to shadow Ana yesterday for a newborn session (and this Saturday for pregnancy). She is such a little spitfire and oh sooo cute!! (So is her assistant Tiffany!) Her studio is just adorable too . . . .just in the middle of a quaint downtown area, and a shopping mecca once you step in smile.gif She has me inspired to make a real studio my goal! And showed me that my little home studio might not be enough room for much . . ..

Ana is this tiny ball of energy, so generous and personable and above all really knows her stuff. She would curl up a newborn in 2 seconds and when the baby wouldn't settle she would transform the little ball into a different shape . . . you could tell she was an absolute pro at this and had no difficulty handling newborns. If you haven't shadowed her, you need to get to her studio now! Buy plane tickets, whatever but it is definitely worth it to meet her in person" Marlo Y.

My Pregnancy was a miracle in itself. We tried for 5 years before finally concieving. I knew that this maybe my only pregnancy so I wanted to document it forever with photographs....Ana did such a beautiful job and I must admit that I have never felt so beautiful in my entire life.
I am so happy I did the photos and I know it is something I wish cherish forever.

To answer your question:

Troy and I wanted to capture the experience of my pregnancy on film as it was such an incredible time in both of our lives. We were both completely absorbed in the idea that a child was growing in my belly and photographing that made it feel special and somehow more real. Our busy lives went on as usual during my pregnancy, and stopping to take time to do the photos felt like we were honoring the experience. Also, I never saw images of my mother during her pregnancy and would have loved to see how she looked while carrying my brothers and I. I think my daughters will appreciate having a peek at how Mommy looked when she was pregnant with them and will think of those pictures fondly when they are pregnant with their own children.

The infant photography is just obvious...babies are just precious and when they are yours, you feel like they are the most beautiful child in the world. Worthy of a photoshoot...In fact we should be charging you :-)
